One Dozen

A friends daughter gave us some eggs on Friday evening.  They were the green and white ones!  I thought what a way to show "One Dozen" with the color in the bowl from the non-traditional eggs.

  7. Americaunas produce the green eggs. Not a common breed of chicken, but lovely birds, and they produce lovely eggs. (An advantage at Easter: you don't have to dye them!) Love your dozen!

  8. I like this shot and the shadows a lot. I like your new header too. In Vancouver B.C. there was an amazing mash-up of Robbie Burns day and Chinese New Year as they are about the same time. Haggis were involved;-)

  11. Great looking eggs, I had never seen the green. And thanks to Sunny for letting us know what kind of chickens lay them.
