As you'll note I put up a new picture on my header -- This was taken at the Burns Night. I thought you all might like to see what is typically worn to a Burns Celebration since so many had commented that they had not heard of it.
Do they still have the dinner too? This is a nice picture of Mechanics Hall too. We got married there and had our reception there. It is a beautiful place. We used to roller skate there before they did the restoration.
Hi - yes they still have the dinner and you can also sit upstairs if you only want to go for the music. Nice place for a wedding -- they still keep it up very nice! I can remember rollerskating there too! My Uncle use to play the organ for rollerskating many years ago and my Aunt was the MA rollerskating champion. Wow -- am I going back in my memory.
But as the Bard said there is nothing worn under the kilt, it's all in perfect working order.
